Physical Intelligence Closes $2B Series C at $25B Valuation

Physical Intelligence (π) announced a $2 billion Series C on June 12 at a $25B post-money valuation, more than tripling the company's worth from its August 2024 Series A. The round was co-led by Jeff Bezos's personal vehicle, Khosla Ventures, and Lux Capital, with participation from NVIDIA, Sequoia, and Bond.

Proceeds will fund the next-generation π1 foundation model, expansion of the company's San Francisco and Munich research labs, and an in-house humanoid platform unveiled earlier this spring. CEO Karol Hausman said the company "will remain primarily a model and tooling company" but will use its in-house hardware to push the state of the art.

Physical Intelligence's π0 model, released as open weights in late 2024, has since been adopted by more than 40 robotics teams and remains one of the most-cited robotics models on Hugging Face.
