· Updated

Neura Robotics, the German maker of cognitive robots and the 4NE1 humanoid, announced a Series C round of up to $1.4 billion on June 10, 2026, The Next Web reported. Tether led the round, with participation from Qualcomm Technologies, Amazon, Nvidia, Bosch, Schaeffler, the European Investment Bank, imec.xpand, Lingotto Horizon and InterAlpen Partners, according to The Next Web.

The Next Web put the company's valuation at approximately $7 billion. Quartz reported that Neura described the financing as the largest ever for a full-stack robotics company.

European and US backers

The investor group pairs US technology companies with European industrial and public backers. SiliconANGLE described the consortium as including Amazon, Nvidia, Qualcomm Technologies and cryptocurrency issuer Tether, along with the European Investment Bank and the Belgian research institute imec. German industrial suppliers Bosch and Schaeffler also took part, The Next Web reported.

Chief executive David Reger said the future of AI will not be confined to screens and will increasingly work alongside people in the physical world, according to SiliconANGLE.

Use of funds

Neura says its order book and strategic deployment pipeline are worth more than $1 billion, SiliconANGLE reported. The company plans to ramp mass production to millions of robots by 2030, according to The Next Web.

Neura plans to expand its manufacturing capacity and open training facilities it calls Neura Gyms, which are meant to help enterprises bring its systems into their operations, SiliconANGLE reported. The Next Web said Neura describes the gyms as real-world training environments for cognitive robots and physical AI. SiliconANGLE reported that the company also plans to develop Neuraverse, its platform that The Next Web said combines robotics, AI, sensors, edge computing and large-scale learning infrastructure.

Product line

Neura's portfolio includes the 4NE1 humanoid, which SiliconANGLE said can move at 3.1 miles per hour and carry up to 220 pounds. The company also sells the MiPA wheeled robot, MAV autonomous transport systems and the LARA and MAiRA robot arms, according to SiliconANGLE, which reported that the MAV1500 can carry up to 1.5 tons.
